Context
The CEO of a fast-growing wellness brand was navigating rapid scale, team complexity, and a flood of opportunities. She was known for her executional focus and strong decision making, but the demands of the CEO role were shifting. Team members were hitting skill ceilings, key functions were not operating smoothly and the CEO was increasingly pulled into firefighting mode. She knew she needed to step into a higher-level CEO seat, without losing the magic that makes her and the brand great.
The Work
We partnered to support her evolution from doer-in-chief to a strategic, high-growth CEO. Our coaching focused on:
Clarifying her leadership focus: We mapped out her unique CEO mandate across vision, external storytelling, talent calibration, and growth strategy—then created a plan to offload or elevate everything else.
Upgrading her engine: We diagnosed weak links in marketing and finance, designed a scope reset for underperforming team members, and brought in expert support to overhaul systems.
Handling hard people decisions: We helped her structure crucial conversations with longtime team members whose execution wasn’t keeping up with growth.
Rebuilding her strategic energy: We protected time for the work that fuels her—brand strategy, partnerships, and cultural relevance—while building systems and talent to scale what she’d already built.
Urgent issue partnership: I helped the CEO work through fast fires that arose - major cash issues, board prep and manufacturing blow-ups.
The Result
The CEO stepped into a more focused, empowered leadership posture. She reclaimed her time and energy for the work that matters most—while making clear, confident decisions on team structure and business management. Her leadership is more intentional, her standards are sharper, and her team is better aligned.
